Protective Services Overview
Legal is credited as a safe community which can be attributed to the watchful eye of citizens and the protective services provided by the Town.
Protective services are provided through multiple channels in Legal. Protection such as bylaw enforcement and peace officer services are contracted through Sturgeon County, whereas disaster and fire services are provided through local and regional associations to ensure the highest level of public safety.
